Helping Others

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.

Dalai Lama

Practicing Karma Yoga by being of service and helping others helps to free one from karma. I like to help Mama do chores like making the bed, especially when she's putting on freshly washed sheets!

  1. No doubt your mom appreciates all your assistance Swami Zoe...I do my best to help my yard duckies get their exercise in everyday but helping them remember how to fly (but I never ever nip!)

  2. I like to help Mommy, too. And she keeps giving me stuff. Like massages every day. And my new pillow bed. And my new box.
Mommy said to say she absolutely loves the color of your sheets. And I think it shows off your natural beauty and centerness. Is that the right word? I hope you understand if it isn't.

  7. Our mom and dad just got back from being of service to the kitties at the UN-Cats Sanctuary. Mom goes out there every week and gives reiki and she and dad went to day to put a door up on the furnace room, and play, and mom did some reiki with the FeLV kitties today again too!
    Service is love. Namaste'

  11. Swami Zoe, You have given me the purrfect excuse for sitting attractively and staring off into space: I am not zoning out, or wasting time! I am MEDITATING! Surely the Human will have to respect that. Mmmmm, those look like extra-comfertabul sheets.
