Practicing Non-violence: Ahimsa

Me practicing Ahimsa with brother Apollo even though
he buggies me sometimes.

There has been much in the news about animal cruelty lately. May we all send out loving prayers for all suffering animals and for the humans that they may see the light of practicing the first part of the first limb of yoga: Ahimsa (non-violence). Me-Ommmmm
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated.
I hold that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man.

Zoe you are very wise...violence only begets more violence...cruelty is so pointless as we are all sentient beings why can we not just understand that if we feel it others do too..all creatures do..i even talk to my flowers and thank them for their beautiful displays ..have a great day sweet Zoe and ommmmm :) xxxHugs Fozziemum xx
